Cristian Monaco

Cristian Monaco comes from the world of pastry and an almost thirty-year-old family tradition. He grew up in a lab and he became an enthusiast of gelato world in 2005, he then decided to launch the Gelatierie Mamò brand from Pasticceria Monaco. The new brand is now present in Rome with three shops and a fourth one about to open.
Mamò style features a healthy gelato, an ingredient list as short as possible and a communication plain and direct without being pretentious and technical.

After all, gelato is a healthy and simple food and we don’t have to complicate it.

He’s a teacher at “A tavola con lo chef” and he was proudly appointed ITALIAN GELATO AMBASSADOR IN THE WORLD at ITTSS SERVIZI ALLA IMPRESE by the Associazione Italiana Gelatieri.
In 2021 he launched mamo-lab, a centralised lab that serves all of the shops and has a demo area for research, development, communication, show cookings, courses and party and gelato demo.
