At the core of Iceteam1927’s values lies the desire to preserve and promote the knowledge and innovation of the Italian Art of Artisanal Gelato.

The Academy project was launched in 2023, inspired by the same educational drive that gave birth to the “GelAteneo” School of Haute Gelato in 2015, and has guided its success ever since.
The Academy, in particular, aims to move beyond its classrooms—filled with industry professionals—and bring the world of gelato into hospitality schools across Italy. Because it is precisely there, among the desks, that interest becomes passion, where a craft can turn into a calling, and a dream can begin to lay the foundations for a possible future.

The world of Italian artisanal gelato is not just about tradition and technique, but also creativity, research, and innovation. From this awareness arises the desire to inspire the chefs of tomorrow, guiding them through a unique educational path supported by Gelato Chefs and brand Ambassadors: passionate professionals, ready to share their knowledge and pass on the excellence of this truly Italian art.

A key element is the use of the company's cutting-edge equipment—especially the Cubo2i model—which allows students to experiment firsthand with the most modern techniques of artisanal gelato making.

The initiative, which is free of charge for participating schools and includes the provision of machinery and semi-finished products, also aims to open opportunities for internships and apprenticeships at the company or in affiliated gelato shops, creating a concrete bridge between education and the professional world.

In its most recent edition, the Academy involved seven Italian hospitality schools, receiving enthusiastic feedback from both students and teachers for the welcoming environment and the human and professional value of the customized programs.
The experience has proven not only educational but also deeply inspiring, and Iceteam1927 intends to continue along this path—expanding its network of partner schools, strengthening the connection between education and the local area, and continuing to invest in the generations that will shape the future of Italian artisanal gelato.
